Matar Paneer Recipe

Ingredients

Fry paneer 200 grams
Green Peas 400 grams
Ghee 2 tablespoon
Milk 1 cup
Onions 3 large
Tomato 1 large
Ginger 1 inch piece
Garlic 2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste


Method

Step 1
Heat sufficient ghee in a kadai and deep-fry till light brown. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Peel, wash and chop onions,  tomato, ginger and garlic finely.
Step 2
Heat two tablespoons ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds chopped onions,  ginger and garlic. Saute till lightly browned. Add tomato wait for 4-5 min.
Step 3
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt saute till oil come out then add peas and cook, adding the paneer, garam masala, little water and milk, till the peas are tender and a little gravy remains.
Step 4
Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with chapatis.
